How this list is built
Every dance on this list was logged at a real night at Remington Bar. It’s a small sample so far, not a full play-by-play, but nothing here is guessed. Learn the ones at the top and you’ll walk in already knowing what’s likely to come on. Each new logged night sharpens the ranking.
What a first night is like
You don’t need a partner and you don’t need to know everything. Rows form, a familiar song comes on, and you follow along. Knowing even three of the regulars means you’re dancing within your first song or two. Watching the rest is how you pick up the next ones.
Questions people ask
Do I need a partner?+−
No. Line dances are danced solo in rows. Everyone does the same steps facing the same way, so you can show up alone and fit right in.
How many dances should I learn first?+−
Just a few. Learn the handful at the top of this list and you’ll walk into Remington Bar already knowing what’s most likely to come on. You won’t be lost if you don’t know one.
Who teaches the line dance lessons at Remington Bar?+−
Lauren Rozzano is the main instructor at Remington Bar. Lessons walk you through a dance step by step before it plays.
What should I wear?+−
Whatever’s comfortable to move in. Boots are common but not required. Closed-toe shoes you can pivot in are plenty.
