What this list is
The Old Town Saloon has no weekly night, so this is not a ranking built over months of nights. It is the set list from the floor itself, logged by people who were there. Learn what you can before the next one and you will be dancing from early on instead of picking it up as you go.
What a first night is like
You don’t need a partner and you don’t need to know everything. Rows form, a familiar song comes on, and you follow along. Knowing even three of the regulars means you’re dancing within your first song or two. Watching the rest is how you pick up the next ones.
Questions people ask
Do I need a partner?+−
No. Line dances are danced solo in rows. Everyone does the same steps facing the same way, so you can show up alone and fit right in.
How many dances should I learn first?+−
Just a few. Learn the ones at the top of this list and you will walk into The Old Town Saloon already knowing what comes on. You won’t be lost if you don’t know one.
What should I wear?+−
Whatever’s comfortable to move in. Boots are common but not required. Closed-toe shoes you can pivot in are plenty.
How is this list put together?+−
Every dance on this list was logged on the floor at The Old Town Saloon itself. It does not run to a weekly schedule, so this is the set list from the nights it has run rather than a ranking of what plays most, and it fills in as it runs again.

Help make The Old Town Saloon’s list sharper
This list is only as good as the people who log what played. If you were on the floor, adding what you danced is what fills this page in for everyone looking it up before the next one.
