What a first night is like
You don’t need a partner and you don’t need to know everything. Rows form, a familiar song comes on, and you follow along. Knowing even three of the regulars means you’re dancing within your first song or two. Watching the rest is how you pick up the next ones.

Do I need a partner?+−
No. Line dances are danced solo in rows. Everyone does the same steps facing the same way, so you can show up alone and fit right in.
How many dances should I learn first?+−
Just a few. Learn the handful at the top of this list and you’ll walk into Neon Boots already knowing what’s most likely to come on. You won’t be lost if you don’t know one. Most nights also feature beginner-friendly dances they’ll talk you through on the fly, plus two full lessons that teach a line dance step by step.
What should I wear?+−
Whatever’s comfortable to move in. Boots are common but not required. Closed-toe shoes you can pivot in are plenty.
